On February 23, 2023, at approximately 11:06 p.m., patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 17-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim’s injury is believed to be non-life-threatening.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was riding his dirt bike in the area of North Calhoun Street (unknown hundred block) , when he was shot.

Northeast District detectives are investigating this incident due to a crime scene not being located.
