On Dec. 18, 2023, at approximately 1:35 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 5500 block of Belair Road, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 32-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Investigators learned the shooting occurred in the 4400 block of LaSalle Avenue, where a crime scene was located.
