On June 14, 2024, at approximately 6:15 a.m., officers responded to an area hospital for reports of a walk-in shooting victim. Once there, officers discovered the victim had left the hospital.

At approximately 6:45 a.m., officers received a call for a shooting in the 7000 block of McClean Boulevard. Officers arrived and located a 34-year-old male victim suffering from a graze wound to the arm.

Detectives located a crime scene for an incident that, according to the victim, took place at approximately 12:30 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing. Northeastern District Detectives are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at 410-396-2444.

Western District Homicide Investigation

On June 14, 2024, at approximately 9:42 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 4300 block of West Bay Avenue for a report of a possible unresponsive person at the location.

Once there, officers located an adult male, obviously deceased on the scene.

The victim's body was transported to the Medical Examiner's Office where the cause of death was ruled as a homicide. The manner of death was by shooting. 

The victim has been identified as 39-year-old Dennis Edmonds (B/M).
