In reference to the shooting that occurred on October 19, 2022, in the Northern District, investigators arrested 20-year-old Tyqwaun Kells of Baltimore.

Detectives believe Kells shot the 19-year-old male victim during a dispute.

On December 19, 2022, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Tyqwaun Kells and transported him to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with attempted first degree murder.

Northern District Shooting Investigation

On October 19, 2022, at approximately 11:17 a.m., patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 19-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Investigators learned that the victim was shot while in the 1400 block of Dellwood Avenue.
