In reference to the shooting that occurred on November 15, 2022, in the Northwest District, detectives have arrested 36-year-old Naeem Sekou.

Investigators believe Sekou shot the 23-year-old male victim while in the 6200 block of Reisterstown Road.

On December 15, 2022, Naeem Sekou was arrested in the Northwest District and transported to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with attempted 1st degree murder.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On November 15, 2022, at approximately 11:06 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 23-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Investigators learned that the victim was in the 6200 block of Reisterstown Road, when he was shot by an unidentified suspect.
