Northwest District Attempted Murder Arrest

In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Northwest District on August 16, 2024, investigators have arrested 19-year-old Rashaad Wilson.

Detectives determined that Wilson shot the 17-year-old female victim in the 3800 block of Chatham Road.

On October 28, 2024, Rashaad Wilson was charged with attempted first-degree murder. He is currently being held without bail at the Central Booking Intake Facility.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On August 16, 2024, at approximately 4:57 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 3800 block of Chatham Road, to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old female victim inside a residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to area hospitals and is listed in stable condition.

Northwest District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northwest District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2466.
