Baltimore Police Department Announce Collaboration in Arrest of Bank Robbery Suspect

Baltimore, Md. (October 14, 2024) – On October 12, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Baltimore Police Department's Warrant Apprehension Task Force, in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals’ Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF) and FBI Baltimore Field Office, successfully apprehended 34-year-old Donte Green aboard a Greyhound bus located in the 1100 Block of Russell Street. This operation unfolded as Green attempted to flee the state.

Donte Green is a suspect in multiple armed bank robberies that took place in September and October 2024, across Baltimore City and Baltimore County. He is facing numerous charges to include several armed robberies, assault and theft.

In addition to these charges, Green had outstanding warrants for aggravated assault and multiple parole violations. Green was transported to Baltimore County Public Safety Building for processing and then to the Towson Precinct for his bail hearing.

This significant apprehension highlights the critical collaboration among multiple law enforcement agencies, which was essential to this investigation and the successful capture of Green.

The Baltimore Police Department remains committed to working in partnership with local, state and federal agencies to identify and arrest those responsible for crimes in our city, and to ensure the safety and security of our community.
