In reference to the homicide that occurred on January 9, 2019, in the Northwest District, investigators have arrested 26-year-old Melvin Wright of Baltimore.

Investigators believe Wright shot and killed 20-year-old Tavon Travis Wilson, while in the 3600 block of Marmon Avenue.

On February 21, 2023, Homicide detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Wright. On February 23, 2023, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Wright in the 6000 block of Green Meadow Parkway without incident.

Detectives transported Wright to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with 1^st degree murder.
