On Nov. 9, 2023, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the 5200 block of Denmore Avenue to investigate a call for an individual suffering from a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 34-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where, despite life-saving measures, he succumbed to his injury.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
