On January 13, 2023, at approximately 9:54 p.m., Southwest District Action Team officers observed a Honda Accord with a paper license tag registered to a Ford Truck.

Officers approached the vehicle to make contact with the driver and observed a handgun and suspected narcotics. The suspect attempted to drive away and collided with a police vehicle. The suspect’s vehicle left the roadway prior to jumping the curb, finally coming to rest on the sidewalk against a tree.

Officers confiscated a semi-automatic handgun, 9 lbs. of marijuana, cocaine, cash and materials used to ready illegal drugs for distribution.

30-year-old Michael Harrell Jr., of Randallstown, was placed under arrest, transported to Central Booking and formally charged with illegally possessing a firearm as well as other related offenses.
