Western District Attempted Murder Arrest

On Sept. 8, 2023, at approximately 1:55 a.m., patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in cutting victim.

Once there, officers located a 20-year-old male suffering from lacerations to the body.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned that the victim was involved in a physical altercation with the suspect, 18-year-old Joseph Rohrbaugh, when Rohrbaugh produced a weapon, stabbing the victim several times.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Joseph Rohrbaugh and on Dec. 5, 2023, Rohrbaugh was extradited from Clearwater, Fla., back to Baltimore City where he was officially charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Joseph Rohrbaugh is currently at Central Booking Intake Facility where he has a no-bail status.
