On March 20, 2023, at approximately 5:46 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 300 block of North Fremont Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 40-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
