On July 17, 2023, at approximately 2 p.m., members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force, Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force and Western District Action Team arrested 62-year-old Antonio Fitzhugh of Baltimore in the 1900 block of Ridgehill Avenue.

On July 14, 2023, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Atkinson in the 1500 block of Ramsey Street. Atkinson was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with 1st-degree murder.

On July 17, 2023, at approximately 9 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 1600 block of Delano Court, in reference to a Shot Spotter alert.

On July 16, 2023, at approximately 12:41 a.m., Central District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
