On December 4, 2022, at approximately 3:10 a.m., officers responded to the 5600 block of Woodmont Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

On July 18, 2023, at approximately 10:28 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of North Potomac Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

On July 11, 2023, members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force arrested 20-year-old Kerin Aviles-Alvarez of Baltimore in a residence located in the 300 block of Hornel Street.
