Eastern District Drug Seizure Arrest

In reference to an ongoing drug seizure investigation that began in the Eastern District, detectives have arrested a 50-year-old male.

On March 7, 2024, Baltimore City and Baltimore County Narcotics Taskforce members executed a search and seizure warrant in the 1000 block of Middle River Road, where officers seized a vast amount of a controlled dangerous substance, u.s currency, and a money counter.

Our detectives will continue working closely with The Baltimore City State Attorney's Office and Baltimore County Police with this investigation.

Southern District Search and Seizure Arrest

On March 20, 2024, at approximately 10:15 a.m., Southern District Action Team and Central District Action Team members executed a search and seizure warrant at a dwelling in the 3000 block of Ascension Street as part of a follow-up investigation.

Upon searching the dwelling, detectives recovered the property shown in the photo. Detectives arrested a 32-year-old male in relation to this investigation. The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with firearm drug trafficking and additional charges.

Southwest District Attempted Murder Arrest

On March 19, 2024, Warrant Apprehension Task Force members arrested 19-year-old Mekhi Green of Baltimore.

Detectives believe that Green shot a 22-year-old male victim while in the 4400 block of Edmondson Avenue on Feb. 26, 2024.

Detectives transported Green to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first degree murder.

Eastern District Homicide Arrest

In reference to a Homicide that occurred in the Eastern District on April 14, 2023, investigators have arrested 42-year-old Tyrell Williams of East Baltimore.

Detectives learned that Williams fatally shot 25-year-old Craig Hunter while in the 2300 block of East Oliver Street.

On March 18, 2024, Tyrell Williams was arrested at a home in the 1700 block of East 25th Street. Detectives transported Williams to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been officially charged with murder in the 1st and 2nd degree, assault, and handgun violations.
