Western District Handgun Arrest

On March 26, 2024, at approximately 11:13 p.m., officers were patrolling the 900 block of Bennet Place conducting traffic stops. Officers stopped a gray Honda and observed the 20-year-old male driver in clear possession of a handgun. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Recovered from the suspect was a Polymer 80 9 mm handgun with one round in the chamber and four additional rounds in the magazine. The suspect was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility for formal processing.

Western District Carjacking Arrest

On March 27, 2024 at approximately 3 p.m., officers were patrolling the 180 block of Pennsylvania Avenue when they observed a stolen vehicle. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle in the 180 block of Division Street; however, the vehicle fled. During an area canvas, officers were able to locate the vehicle in the 100 block of McKean Avenue, and the driver then bailed out. A short time later, officers located the 16-year-old suspect in the 900 block of McKean

Street and arrested him. Inside the vehicle was a Glock 19 with a switch and an extended magazine. The suspect was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility to be charged as an adult.

Southwest Stolen Vehicle Arrest

On March 26, 2024, at approximately 11 a.m., detectives from the Regional Auto Theft Taskforce conducted an investigation that led them to the 1900 block of Grinnalds Avenue. Where they recovered a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan and a Mercedes that had been stolen from a car dealership in Glen Burnie. Detectives arrested two male suspects aged 14 and 15, as well as two 15-year-old females, without incident. All four suspects were then transported to juvenile booking for processing.

Eastern District Handgun & CDS Arrest

On March 28, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Detectives were engaged in proactive enforcement in the 210 block of North Charles Street. Detectives observed an individual they suspected of selling narcotics. Detectives arrested a 24-year-old male without incident and recovered a loaded Rohn RG14 22 caliber revolver as well as narcotics from the suspect. The suspect was then taken to Central Booking’s Intake Facility for further processing.

Northeast District Stolen Vehicle Arrest

On March 26, 2024, at approximately 12 p.m., detectives from the Regional Auto Theft Taskforce investigation led to the 5700 block of Renwick Avenue, where they recovered a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro, a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette, and a 201 Infiniti G37. All three vehicles had been reported stolen from various jurisdictions. The detectives apprehended two male suspects, aged 27 and 24, without incident. Both individuals were taken to CBIF for processing.

Handgun Arrest

On March 28, 2024, at approximately 10:12 p.m., officers observed a 38-year-old male with an apparent handgun protruding from his hip. Officers stopped the individual and placed him under arrest without incident. Officers then recovered a handgun and BB gun from the suspect. The suspect also had several open warrants from the Bel Air Police Department. The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility.

Northern District Handgun Arrest

On March 28, 2024, at approximately 6:07 p.m., officers responded while patrolling the area of Pimlico & Wylie Avenue. The officers observed a black male wearing all black clothing armed with a black handgun pointing the weapon at a group of individuals at the intersection.

Officers proceeded to stop the individual, who attempted to flee on foot. After a pursuit, officers apprehended a 40-year-old suspect and recovered a loaded Glock 21. The suspect was then transported to CBIF for further processing.
