Central District Attempted Murder Arrest

In reference to the shooting and discharging that occurred in the Central District, detectives have charged Teneshia Pollock of Baltimore.

Pollock was arrested shortly after injuring a 31-year-old woman in a shooting in the 100 block of East Redwood Street then shooting at an off-duty police officer in the 400 block of East Baltimore on Feb. 17, 2024.

Detectives transported Teneshia Pollock to Central Booking Intake Facility where she was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Central District Shooting & Discharging Investigation

On February 17, 2024, at approximately 3:31 p.m., a 31-year-old female was involved in a road rage incident in the 100 block of East Redwood Street, with a later identified, 35-year-old female suspect.

Officers learned that the female suspect produced a handgun, and fired it at the victim, grazing the victim in the head.

The suspect then continued to the 400 block of East Baltimore Street, where she encountered an off-duty officer. The suspect fired at the officer. The off-duty officer then returned fire at the suspect.

Neither officer nor suspect was struck.

Patrol units who were nearby, quickly responded to the scene, placing the 35-year-old female suspect under arrest.

BPD’s Special Investigation Response Team and Homicide Detectives are investigating this incident.
