Central District Murder Arrest
On Jan. 14, 2024, at approximately 12:59 a.m., officers responded to the I-83 North Exit 3 to investigate a call of a woman being shot.
Upon arrival, officers observed two individuals inside a vehicle: a 30-year-old female suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound and a 27-year-old male, later identified as Christopher Lee, who was conscious and uninjured. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where, despite life-saving measures, she was pronounced deceased.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a verbal altercation had transpired between Lee and the victim, which led to her being shot.
Detectives transported Lee to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with 2nd degree murder and additional charges.
