Central District Shooting Investigation

On Sept. 5, 2024, at approximately 8:02 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment for gunshot wound.

Upon arrival at the hospital, officers located a 23-year-old male victim who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the buttock. The victim is listed in stable condition.

The victim stated he was in the 1800 block of Greenmount Avenue when he was shot.
