Eastern District Homicide Arrest

In reference to a Homicide that occurred in the Eastern District on April 14, 2023, investigators have arrested 42-year-old Tyrell Williams of East Baltimore.

Detectives learned that Williams fatally shot 25-year-old Craig Hunter while in the 2300 block of East Oliver Street.

On March 18, 2024, Tyrell Williams was arrested at a home in the 1700 block of East 25th Street. Detectives transported Williams to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been officially charged with murder in the 1st and 2nd degree, assault, and handgun violations.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On April 14, 2023, at approximately 12:03 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 2300 block of East Oliver Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 25-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
