On January 1, 2023, at approximately 3:29 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to a report of a Shot Spotter alert in the 700 block of North Glover Street.

Once there, officers located an adult female suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where she later died.

While on the scene, officers were advised of a walk-in gunshot victim at an area hospital.

Upon officers arrival, they located a 31-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound. This victim was also shot in the 700 block of North Glover Street.
