On Jan. 16, 2024, at approximately 6:47 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers were patrolling the area of Belair Rd and Mayfield Avenue when they were approached by a victim who stated he was shot in the 3200 block of Harwell Avenue. 

The victim, a 17-year-old male, sustained an apparent gunshot wound to the face. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
