Northern District Homicide Investigation

On April 14, 2024, at approximately 9:56 p.m., officers responded to the 4900 block of Palmer Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. 

Upon arrival, officers located a 23-year-old male victim inside a vehicle, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the neck. Officers performed CPR on the victim until medics arrived and continued to perform life-saving measures, but despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Northern District Shooting Investigation 

On April 14, 2024, at approximately 12:31 a.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 300 block of East Lorraine Avenue for a reported shooting investigation inside the residence.

Once they arrived, officers located a 34-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim is listed in stable condition.
