Southern District Homicide Investigation

On April 15, 2023, at approximately 8:50 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Maisel Court for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located at 12-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to Shock Trauma where despite doctor’s effort, he died a short time later.

Homicide detectives responded and are investigating this murder.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On April 15, 2023, at approximately 7:05 p.m., officers responded to the 5400 block of Belair Road for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 46-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with what appears to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Northeast District detectives responded and are investigating this incident.

Preliminary information revealed the victim was walking in the block when an unknown vehicle pulled up alongside him and an occupant exited the vehicle and began shooting at the victim.
