Southeast District Homicide Investigation

On April 3, 2023, at approximately 9 p.m., Southeast District officers were patrolling the 2900 block of East Pratt Street when officers heard discharging.

Upon arrival, officers found an 18-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to his body. The officers attempted life-saving measures until medics arrived on the scene. The victim was transported by medics to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.

Southeast District Homicide Investigation

On April 3, 2023, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Southeast District officers responded to the 400 block of Imla Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 21-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to his body. The victim was transported by medics to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Further investigation revealed that the incident occurred in the 6300 block of Eastern Avenue.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On April 3, 2023, at approximately 5:33 p.m., Northwest District detectives were patrolling the area of Park Heights Avenue and Wylie Avenue when they heard discharging.

Detectives responded to the 4400 block of Park Heights Avenue when they observed a vehicle fleeing the area.

The detectives followed that vehicle to an area hospital where they found three males, a 21-year-old male, a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old male, who were all suffering from gunshot wounds.  All three victims are in stable condition.

Northwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.
