Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On Aug. 1, 2024, at around 3:03 p.m., officers responded to the 4800 block of Sinclair Lane to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 29-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening graze wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he will be treated for his injury. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 4900 block of Aberdeen Avenue. 

Northeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Southern District Homicide Investigation

On Aug. 1, 2024, at approximately 3:19 a.m., officers heard discharging in the 900 block of East Patapsco Ave. They responded and located an unidentified victim suffering from apparent multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation

On Aug. 1, 2024, at approximately 1:10 a.m., officers received a Shot Spotter alert in the 1300 block of North Luzerne Ave. Officers responded and located a 29-year-old male victim suffering from apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
