Southwest District Homicide Investigation

On Aug. 20, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 300 block of South Franklintown Road for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 32-year-old female and a 32-year-old male both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim deceased at the location.

The female victim was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On Aug. 20, 2024, at approximately 11:10 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 2700 block of Fisk Street for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 31-year-old male suffering from an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

Due to the victim's injuries, homicide detectives have been notified.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On Aug. 20, 2024, at approximately 10:06 p.m., Northwest District officers were dispatched to the 4100 block of Patterson Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Officers responded to the location and observed an unidentified male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Northwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
