Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On December 20, 2022, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to an area hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

When officers arrived at the hospital, they observed a 42-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim told police that he was shot at the intersection of Yale Avenue and Potter Street.

On December 20, 2022, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Southern District officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Spelman Road to investigate a reported reported shooting.

When officers arrived at the location, they observed a 22-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the buttocks.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On December 20, 2022, at approximately 4:43 p.m., Northwest District officers were dispatched to the 5200 block of Reisterstown Road to investigate reports of gunfire in the area.

When officers arrived at the location, they canvassed the area and were unable to locate any victims or suspects at the scene.

A short time later, officers were notified about a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital. The victim believed he had been struck in the head with an object causing injuries. After an examination, hospital medical personnel discovered that the adult male victim had been shot in the head.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On December 20, 2022, at approximately 3:15 p.m., Central District officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of West North Avenue to investigate a reported reported shooting.

When officers arrived at the location, they canvassed the area and discovered a 34-tear-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On December 20, 2022, at approximately 1:18 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 4000 block of West Northern Parkway, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located an adult male inside of a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is expected to survive.

Investigators believe the shooting occurred in the 4900 block of Reisterstown Road.
