Western District Shooting Investigation

On December 29, 2022, at approximately 9:12 p.m., Western District officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of West North Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

When officers arrived at the location, they observed a 51-year-male and a 53-year-male suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to area hospitals by ambulance.

A short time later, a 41-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound walked into an area hospital seeking treatment. Investigators determined that the victim was wounded in the West North Avenue shooting.

Southern District Homicide Investigation

On December 29, 2022, at approximately 8:41 p.m., Southern District officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Eastshire Drive to investigate a reported shooting.

When officers arrived at the location, they observed a 21-year-male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by ambulance. Hospital medical personnel pronounced the victim dead shortly after arrival.

Central District Homicide Investigation

On December 29, 2022, at approximately 4:05 p.m., Central District officers were dispatched to the intersection of Mulberry Street and North Greene Street to investigate a reported shooting.

When officers arrived at the location, they observed an unidentified male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by ambulance. Hospital medical personnel pronounced the victim dead shortly after arrival.

Detectives learned that the suspect and victim had a physical altercation. The suspect shot the victim and fled. The suspect is described as a heavy-set male.

Southern District Homicide Investigation

On December 29, 2022, at approximately 1:56  p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 2000 block of West Pratt Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers located an unidentified adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
