Eastern District Shooting Investigation

On Dec. 4, 2022, at approximately 4:25 p.m., officers responded to the 700 North Caroline Street for reports of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 15-year-old male with an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.

Eastern District Detectives are investigating the incident and ask anyone with information to call 410-396-2433.

Southwestern District Fatal Fire Investigation

On Dec. 4, 2022, at approximately 11:50 a.m., officers responded to the 2500 block of West Lexington Street for an alarm of fire follow-up.

Once there, officers were notified by the Baltimore City Fire Department that a deceased adult male had been found inside the dwelling.

Arson and homicide units are investigating. This is an active and ongoing investigation.

The original alarm of fire took place on Dec. 3 at approximately 11:29 p.m.

Northeastern District Homicide Investigation

On Dec. 4, 2022, at approximately 3:02 a.m., officers responded to the 5600 block of Woodmont Avenue for reports of a shooting.

Once at the location, officers located a 19-year-old female victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where, despite medical efforts, she was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Homicide Detectives are investigating.
