Southern District Homicide Investigation

On Feb. 2, 2024, at approximately 7:01 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 900 block of Coppin Court for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers found a 25-year-old male inside of the location, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead on the scene.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On Feb. 2, 2024, at approximately 12:32 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 39-year-old female suffering from apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Investigators learned that the shooting occurred in the 5000 block of Midwood Avenue.
