Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On February 13, 2023, at approximately 10:38 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of North Potomac Street, for a Shot Spotter alert.

Once there, officers located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

Western District Homicide Investigation

On February 13, 2023, at approximately 5 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of McKean Avenue for an individual who was lying in the street.

Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified adult male who had been shot in the neck.

The victim was transported to Shock Trauma where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Homicide detectives responded out and are investigating this murder.

Detectives have yet to identify a suspect or determine a motive.
