Central District Homicide Investigation

On January 12, 2023, at approximately 12:03 a.m., Central District patrol officers were on routine patrol when they heard gunfire in the unit block of West Biddle Street .

Officers canvased the location and located an adult male, inside of a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On January 11, 2023, at approximately 10:43 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 2100 block of Madison Avenue, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located an unresponsive adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Due to the victim’s injuries, homicide detectives have been notified.
