Central District Shooting Investigation Update

One of the shooting investigations where the victim walked into a Central District hospital has now been determined to be self-inflicted.

At 7:16 p.m., a 25-year-old male walked into the hospital suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his right leg.

Detectives learned the victim accidentally shot himself in the 3300 block of Clifton Avenue.

Detectives have obtained information that corroborates the victim’s story.

Central District Shooting Investigation (2nd walk-in shooting victim)

On January 24, 2023, at approximately 8 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital where a shooting victim walked in seeking treatment.

Upon arrival, officers located a 30-year-old male who was suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to his lower extremities.

Central District detectives are investigating this incident and have yet to determine where in the city the victim was shot.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On January 24, 2023, at approximately 7:49 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of N. Eutaw Street for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 28-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his shoulder.

The victim was transported to an area hospital by medics and is in serious but stable condition.

The victim stated he was waiting on the bus stop in the 200 block of N. Eutaw Street when he was shot.

Central District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2411.
