Western District Shooting Investigation
On July 27, 2024, at around 8:34 p.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of North Monroe Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Western District Shooting Investigation
On July 27, 2024, at around 3:02 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of North Calhoun Street to investigate a call for a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 43-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening graze wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was treated for his injury.
Preliminary investigation revealed that he was shot in the 1400 block of West Franklin Street.
Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation
On July 27, 2024, at around 12:23 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of North Lakewood Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.
Shortly after, officers received a call for a shooting victim in the 1100 block of North Luzerne Avenue. Officers responded to the location and located a 14-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 1100 block of North Lakewood Avenue.
Southeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
