Western District Homicide Investigation

On July 6, 2024, at approximately 8:22 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Woodbrook Avenue to investigate the discharging of a firearm.

Upon arrival, officers located a 47-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body in the 1400 block of Traction Street. Medics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
