Western District Shooting Investigation

On June 2, 2024, at approximately 8:03 p.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of North Smallwood Street for reports of a shooting.

Once there, they located a 39-year-old male victim being treated by medics for an apparent gunshot wound. The medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he is currently in stable condition.

Western District Detectives are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call them at 410-396-2477.

Western District Homicide Investigation

On June 2, 2024, at approximately 5:02 p.m., officers heard a discharging in the 900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. A ShotSpotter alert also came out for the same location.

Once at that location, officers observed an unidentified male victim suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds. Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment, where, despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased.

Southern District Shooting Investigation (Hospital Walk-In)

On June 2, 2024, at approximately 1:19 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital in reference to a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, they located a male victim suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.

Shell casings were located in the 3400 block of Violetville Lane.

Northwestern District Shooting Investigation (Hospital Walk-In)

On June 2, 2024, at approximately 9 a.m., officers were notified of a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital.

The 43-year-old male victim stated he was in the area of Liberty Heights and Garrison Boulevard when he was approached by an unidentified suspect. As the victim walked away, he heard a gunshot and noticed he was bleeding. He then obtained a ride to an area hospital.

Central District Homicide Investigation

On June 2, 2024, at approximately 3:49 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of West Mulberry Street for reports of a shooting.

Once inside a business at that location, they located an unidentified male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased a short time later.

An unidentified suspect fled the location in a red Lexus.
