Western District Homicide Investigation

On June 24, 2024, at approximately 10:57 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 2000 block of McKean Avenue in reference to a Shot Spotter alert.

Once there, officers located a 20-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.

Western District Shooting Investigation

On June 24, 2024, at approximately 2:46 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 2500 block of Calverton Heights in reference to a Shot Spotter alert.

Once there, officers canvased the area, locating an adult male in the 800 block of North Warwick Avenue suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics arrived on the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On June 23, 2024, at approximately 11:55 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 5400 block of Jonquil Avenue, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 21-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the inner thigh.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where his injury is believed to be non-life-threatening.

Southeast District Homicide Investigation

On June 23, 2024, at approximately 11:37 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 400 block of North Montford Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.
