Central District Shooting Investigation

On June 30, 2024, at approximately 9:25 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 200 block of St. Matthews Street for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 16-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation 

On June 30, 2024, at approximately 3:15 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of North Luzerne Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 15-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where his injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On June 30, 2024, at approximately 12:21 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 2500 block of Washington Boulevard for a report of shooting.

Once there, officers located a 32-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

Northwest District Homicide Investigation

On June 29, 2024, at approximately 9:54 p.m., patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in cutting victim.

Once there, officers located a 38-year-old male suffering from stab wounds to the body.

Despite doctors' efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased.

Investigators learned the victim was stabbed in the 4000 block of Fairfax Road.
