Central District Shooting Investigation
On June 9, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Central District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a walking shooting victim seeking treatment.
Upon arrival at the hospital, officers spoke to a 33-year-old female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right forearm. The victim has non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the 800 block of Eager Street when she was shot by an unidentified male.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation
On June 9, 2024, at approximately 3:10 a.m., Southeast District officers responded to the Unit block of South Highland Avenue in the rear for a report shooting investigation.
Upon arrival, officers located a 25-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the neck. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. The victim is listed in critical but stable condition.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim had an altercation with an unidentified suspect who pulled out a gun and shot the victim.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation
On June 10, 2024, at approximately 1:40 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Once there, officers located a 40-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where his injury is believed to be non-life threatening.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 1000 block of McAleer Court on the evening of June 9, 2024.

Northern District Shooting Investigation
On June 9, 2024, at approximately 11:15 a.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a walking shooting victim seeking treatment.
Upon arrival at the hospital, officers spoke to a 44-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the hand. The victim has non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the 500 block of East Cold Spring Lane when he was shot.

Upon arrival at the hospital, officers spoke to a 14-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left knee. The victim has non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim states he doesn’t know where he was shot. Shooting is unknown at this time.

Southwest District Homicide Investigation
On June 9, 2024, at approximately 9:51 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of West Lexington Street to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male victim lying on the street, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Medics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
