Southeast District Homicide Investigation

On March 12, 2024, at approximately 4:46 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of East Baltimore Street and South Chester Street to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed evidence of a shooting. While on the scene, officers were notified that the victim of the shooting was transported to an area hospital.

Upon arriving at the area hospital, officers observed a 33-year-old male suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. Yet despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On March 12, 2024, at approximately 12:45 p.m., officers responded to the 4600 block of Edmondson Avenue to investigate a call for shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 20-year-old male suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.

The victim is listed in stable condition at this time.  

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

On March 12, 2024, at approximately 11:34 a.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of North Glover Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unresponsive, unidentified male suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Northern District Shooting Investigation

On March 12, 2024, at approximately 8:27 a.m., Patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 22-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the torso.

Investigators learned the incident occurred in the 200 block of West Northern Parkway. 

Detectives are currently interviewing a person of interest in this case.
