Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On May 19, 2024, at approximately 11:21 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 3000 block of Mayfield Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Once there officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation 

On May 19, 2024, at approximately 12:15 p.m. Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 1500 block of West Fayette Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 43-year-old female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported by medic to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
