Northern District Shooting Investigation

On May 29, 2023, at approximately 2:32 a.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 400 block of East Lorraine Avenue, for a report of vehicle crash.

Once there, officers located an adult male pedestrian, suffering from a head injury. The pedestrian that stated he was struck by the vehicle that’s crashed within that block.

The driver of the crashed vehicle, an adult male emerged from the wreck and advised that he had been shot while in the 400 block of East Lorraine Avenue, by an unidentified suspect.

Medics transported both men to area hospitals for treatment.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On May 29, 2023, at approximately 2:24 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 2200 block of Annapolis Road, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 28-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time the location of the shooting is unknown to investigators.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On May 28, 2023, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 5600 block of Woodmont Avenue, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 29-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On May 28, 2023, at approximately 6:35 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 1100 block of Dover Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 33–year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Investigators believe the shooting occurred in the 200 block of South Monroe Street, where a crime scene was located.

Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On May 27, 2023, at approximately 7:31 p.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 2800 block of Harford Road, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 38-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
