Western District Shooting Investigation

On May 30, 2023, at approximately 11:28 p.m., Western District officers responded to the 2600 block of Baker Street to Investigate a shot spotter alert.

Once at the location, Officers located a 36-year-old male victim suffering from two apparent gunshot wounds to the left thigh/calf. The victim was transported to an area hospital by a medic with non-life-threatening injuries. A person of interest was taken into custody, and a weapon was recovered.

Southwest District Homicide Investigation

On May 30, 2023, at approximately 9:38 p.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of Grinnalds Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officer observed an unidentified male suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On May 30, 2023, at approximately 5:39 p.m., officers responded to the 3500 block of Shannon Drive to investigate the report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Northeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 20-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injury.

Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
