Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On May 31, 2023, at approximately 4:13 p.m., officers responded to the 4200 block of Powell Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 31-year-old male in the 4200 block of Parkmount Avenue, suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injury.

Northeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation

On May 31, 2023, at approximately 1:13 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to an area Hospital for a reported walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, officers observed a 27-year-old female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right leg. The victim is listed in stable condition.

 Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim stated she was in a crossfire; however, she refused to provide a location of the incident.

Eastern Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Eastern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2433.
