Eastern District Shooting Investigation

On October 24, 2024, at approximately 5:57 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital in reference to a shooting victim seeking treatment.

Upon their arrival, officers observed a 37-year-old female with a gunshot wound to her leg. The victim informed officers she was shot while 3400 block of Elmora Avenue.

Eastern District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On Oct. 24, 2024, at approximately 3:08 a.m., officers responded to the 700 block of E. 20th Street for a Shot Spotter alert.

Once there, officers located an unidentified adult male suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
