Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On October 26, 2024, at around 7:27 p.m., officers responded to the area of Liberty Heights Avenue and Gwynn Oak Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting. 

Officers also responded to an area hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim. Upon arriving at the hospital, officers observed a 33-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim is currently listed in critical condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 4800 block of Liberty Heights Avenue.

Northwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On October 26, 2024, at approximately 1:10 p.m., patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of  a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 25-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Investigators learned the shooting occurred  in the 200 block of North Eutaw Street where a crime scene was located.
