Western District Shooting Investigation

On October 28, 2024, at approximately 8:50 p.m.,  Western District officers responded to a shot-spotter alert in the 400 block of Bloom Street.

Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left foot. The victim was transported to an area hospital, listed in stable condition.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On October 28, 2024, at approximately 2:14 p.m.,  Southeast District officers responded to a hospital in the area for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

Upon arrival, officers located a 31-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left thigh. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot inside the 1100 block of North Luzerne Avenue by a known person. And was driven to the hospital.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On October 28, 2024, at approximately 1:45 a.m., Southern District patrol officers were conducting routine patrol in the 3600 block of Potee Street when they were flagged down by a citizen regarding a shooting victim. 

The patrol officers quickly located the victim, a 35-year-old male, and provided aid until medics arrived on the scene. The victim was then transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Southeast District Homicide Investigation

On October 28, 2024, at approximately 3:44 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to a home in the 3700 block of Toone Street for a report of a shooting. 

Once there, officers located a 28-year-old female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. 

Medics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
