Northeast District Shooting Investigation 

On October 6, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Northeast District officers received notification from Baltimore County Police that a victim walked-into one of their area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. 

Upon arrival to the hospital officers spoke with a 31-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the right arm. The victim is in stable condition. 

Preliminary information revealed that the victim was in the 7600 block Harford Road when he shot. 

Northeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.

Eastern District Fatal Accident Investigation 

On October 6, 2024, at approximately 6:13 p.m.,  Eastern District officers responded to the 1200 block of East 25th Street for a fatal accident.

Upon arrival, officers were advised by witnesses that the 29-year-old operator of a dirt bike was riding and hit a tree. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by hospital staff. 

The Accident Investigation Unit responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
