Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On October 7, 2024, at around 10:56 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of Harford Road to investigate ShotSpotter alerts. 

Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was soon after pronounced deceased. 

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over this investigation.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On October 7, 2024, at around 5:28 p.m., officers responded to the rear of the 1100 block of North Lakewood Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injury. Due to the condition of the victim, Homicide detectives were notified.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On October 7, 2024, at around 2:56 p.m., Baltimore County officers responded to the 7000 block of Reisterstown Road to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injury. While on the scene, officers were notified of a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital. Upon arriving at the hospital, officers observed an 18-year-old  male suffering from several non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.  

Further investigation revealed that both victims were shot in the 7000 block of Reisterstown Road.

Baltimore County Police conducted the initial investigation, and upon further review of the location of the initial incident, Baltimore City Police is taking over and continuing the investigation.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On October 7, 2024, at approximately 12:31 a.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 1500 block of Silver Court for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 25-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics arrived on the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while in the 1500 block of May Court.
